The second article is a primer for how to shape canvas-based rag rugs
with rug binding. Canvas rugs don't have to be squares or rectangles.
By using binding you can change the canvas to the shape and size that
you like. Also included is a diagram of the "bias joint" which is used
not only for rug binding, but also is the best method to join fabric
strips in rug making.
